For months now I have been working on a pattern for my very own dolls.
Don't get me wrong, I love the patterns I have bought and used previously. I'm inspired by Dolls and Daydreams and Bit of Whimsy Dolls and love creating from their gorgeous patterns. But it just wasn't enough for me.
Dolls have become my obsession. I search Facebook for gorgeous creations to add to Evie and my little collection. From show pieces to lovable little things, I have coveted them all. Seeing so many amazing dolls continued to fuel my passion to make a Sweet Evie doll and hopefully have worthy to be out there with the many gorgeous creations about.
After testing several patterns half heartedly, I spent some time watching Evie, how she played with her toys. I wanted a doll she could handle and love but I could show off on a shelf if I wanted to as well. Something that could be whatever my imagination, or that of my fans, wanted. Hopefully, I have gotten it right.
Introducing, the Sweet Evie Candy Dolls.
These three lovelies - Amity, Aubrey and Miss Evie's own Aillis, are three of the Tea Party collection that starts off our range and will serve as the face of our doll collections.
Aubrey and Amity are heading off to the homes of ladies who inspire me with their craft and with their skill in business, and I know they will be loved.
Please let me know what you think and what you want to see. I look forward to making Candy Dolls for as many of your little ones as possible.
Xoxo C
